I once took a photo and there was a giant thumb in it. It must have been an angel
I'm at a complete loss as to why anyone would choose to believe that such mundane, easily explainable phenomena as spherical aberrations are anything other than what they obviously are. Clearly, nobody with any interest in truth can really believe that these orbs are supernatural, so they must be pretending - or at least deliberately ignoring pertinent information so they can cling to their preferred belief. But why? What possible comfort can be gained from believing in the existence of supernatural "orbs" that are invisible to our highly sensitive eyes, but appear commonly on photographs taken with cheap digital cameras? Is it just that for some people, any "proof" of the supernatural, however flimsy, strengthens their faith in an afterlife? Again, I'm not sure why it would. Perhaps some "believers" would care to explain why they so desperately cling to such an untenable belief.
