I cook using recipes and sometimes I make up recipes, such as my pot roast masterpiece that's pretty tasty. My daughter doesn't care for much of what I cook but I think my culinary creations are good.

I've just gotten into cooking recently, I love to cook. I've even taken some classes here at a restuarant that is taught by a chef. I can make chicken paramagano, spaghetti with sausage (homemade sauce), and some asian dishes. I would love to go to culinary school but the only one around here is in a town about 2 hours away. One day maybe.

I love pasta dishes, stir-frys and casserole type meals made in the crock pot/slow cooker.
Since I need to limit my time on my feet I usually make enough for more than one meal and either freeze the remainder or eat leftovers (sometimes the leftovers are even better than cooked the same day).
Cooking for one is a pain but by making extra it makes the work worth-while.
I started using frozen vegetables for the stir-frys during the winter. That cuts down a lot of the work and I can cook up a stirfry fairly quickly.

I love to cook and try new recipes. I read cookbooks like some read novels. If you resist the time it takes, try Rachel Ray-she specializes in delish food that only takes a half hour to prepare(for real!)
I am training my daughter to cook and plan meals. Getting out of food ruts is a great way to get busy cooking. Find 3 recipes, make sure you have the ingredients and try new things.
Spaghetti carbonara-totally delicious, easy, fast and really bad for you(in a really good way!)
Stir Fry anything
Breakfast for dinner (some family favorites)

If you buy what's on sale then look for a recipe you can create something new everytime.
I bought some cheap meat and learned how to make beef stroganoff!
