Work? Target is still treating me well, and a recent promotion just me next in line for an executive posistion. I'm not holding my breath.
GF? I have found that my current life status doesn't really the afford me the luxury of calling someone my own. Doesn't mean I'm not having fun...
Independence? worth it. If I could go back, most of it would be done exactly the same.

Don't worry about the GF thing - tattoos are badass and you are clearly not one to be reckoned with (the latin says it all) so when the time is right and there is a girl deserving of you she'll come along and appreciate what she's got.
