She's a media wh---. (not sure if i can use that word here) She says outlandish, over the top things to get attention. Just look at this thread. If she didn't get this type of attention then no $$ for her. It's all a game. She says things to piss off people and get attention. I can almost guarantee she doesn't believe everything she says, put you gotta pay the mortgage somehow.

I recently heard Al Franken for the first time and was surprised. The Big Fat Idiot title of that book led me to believe he would be a neandertal(not that I have any special fondness for Rush Limbaugh), but I found him to be witty, articulate and thoughtful-even though I often disagree with him. Ann Coulter is something else! Someone needs to give her an off switch, cause she can sound smart and decent and then descend into stupid faster than a bullet train. I have been switching back and forth between conservative and progressive radio. Makes me feel kind of discombobulated sometimes! It has got me thinking more though, and helped me see what both sides are saying. Gotta say, they often vie with one another for ridiculousness. Then I turn on my country music and remember that it all comes down to doing the best for the people I know and those I love-If I am my best, kindest person, I am part of something GOOD, and I don't ever have to defend that.

I love her, because she gives the left a taste of their own medicine and THEY DON'T LIKE IT.

She seems wrong, and obnoxiously, bitchily, arrogantly, and unkindly so, on every topic I can think of. Tell me what she gets right.

Ann Coulter is the right's version of Molly Ivins or Peggy Noonan.
I don't care for Ann, at all. However I find that the pre-pubescent giggling about the tactics of Al-Pieda to be sad and reprehensible. Anytime free speech is curtailed it seems, more and more to come from the Fascist wing of the Democratic party, and no the Republicans.
I'm sure I'll get shouted down for maing the above statement, and that will prove my point.

Jeremy Paxman on BBC's newsnight interviewed Coulter not long back. He seemed slightly perplexed by her (not surprisingly) I think the last line of hers in the interview pretty much sums her up as a self propagandist. Watch it here -

Nut job for sure!!! I think a pie in the face was too nice...mace would have been so much better!!! Anyone who would say such horrible things about people that had lost loved ones in the 9/11 tragedy, irregardless of their political stance, deserves all the bad Karma that comes her way.
