It is really hard to answer the first from my present perspective, but I would say, roughly:
1. 6
2. 9
The second 9 out of 10 because I have learned since that nothing really is certain...

1. 9 Except convinced isn't the word I would use. Believed is a better word. I was raised up in it and never [edit]really tried[edit] to convince myself.
