WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Should there be an emancipation campaign for women elders?

Are you saying that women elders should be freed? They're locked up somewhere? Is that why I never saw any?

Blondie, you cut me up, LOL. I'd rather the society stick with their game plan and become an anachronism in modern society. They've cut off half the supply of their intelligence. I think good leaders of both genders should leave the society as fast as their sturdy feet can carry them.

Seriously, I always found this sad and illogical.
When I think of that, I always remember a girl my age, back when I was in. An elder's daughter, 20 years old, with two older brothers who were both (of course) MS despite being under 25. She was very smart, even attended college. She was headstrong, I'm sure she was the kind to cry out "sexism!" if she saw it anywhere...anywhere but in the WT, of course.
That one time really pissed me off, when they had her and her brothers interviewed in front of the congo, the guys being smug/humble and crap like that. And her, she said that when she was little, she wanted to be an MS and a Elder, but that now, since she knows God wouldn't approve it, she just tried to pionner a lot and cultivate the qualities that are needed to become one. That's so sick, and everyone applauded and congratulated her for being so spiritual and doing that for Jehobah only and not to get some privilege that she could never get...

Yeah...it sucks to have your little girl ask after one of her first meeting why women can't give talks. "Well sweetie, you can do anything you want in life, have any job, do anything you set your mind to...except give a little speech on that little stage". YUCK!!!

Women Elders are chained up somewhere in the south singing "Swing low sweet chariot, coming for to carry me home"

What a great image! LOL! I wonder if they have to wear their little head coverings on the chain gang. -

You should have told the truth. "You were born with a vagina so you will always be a second class citizen with this religion."
When I hear that a woman is giving a talk on a Sunday morning, I will attend the meeting. Until then, only weddings I am invited to or funer...I mean memorial servives will be the only reason I would step foot in a Hell.

One of the huge reasons I would never join any organized religion again is that almost all of them subordinate women. -

Yeah, that's all we need, women elders, when it comes to that time of the month, and they start DFing everyone.
