Hey (((Jonjon)))), it was big of you and brave of you to call. That is a truly horrible outcome, but you are better for having done it. As Andi said, "show them what we are made of". At this point in time, you are made of better stuff. Be proud of that.

You guessed it. The first time I got sick several years ago, he said that one of the reasons was because I had turned my back on the org. I told him using that reasoning was no different than the Falwells and Robertsons of this world saying that AIDS was a curse from god, which the org claims not to agree with. What people will believe in the name of religion still floors me. I guess the things that have happened in the past week really bring that more into focus.Six,
I'm not sure it's really brave. More like masochistic. My sister and my partner wonder why I even bothered. I don't know for sure why. Part of me wants to beleive that one day he will change his tune, and the other part of me wants to see if I can get on his nerves, at least for a few minutes.Peace and love,

I am so sorry to hear what happened with your father. It took courage to do what you did. And now you know that you've done (again!) what you could do to solve the problem. I'm proud of you! I know how difficult it is. My parents have said the same thing to me about my life. Anytime anything goes wrong it's because I've left the Organization. (sigh) Take comfort in knowing that others here love you and truly understand the hardship. We are beside you all the way!
