"if not which is the correct way to worship GOD at this moment in time and that to come."
Notice the implied assumptions here: That God is separate from you and that he needs/must be worshipped. Consider the possibility that what the word "god" points is something entirely different than what you have been taught. Leave behind all conceptual notions and fully embrace the essence of your own existence. Be present with what is, as well as the presence of yourself, abandon all judgment about self and other - then see what happens to notions about the "correct way to worship GOD". -

The true path is to do to others as you would have them do to you.
I think all of our prophets and wise men would agree.
This is how to live with other humans anyway.
As far as pleasing the creator, I dont know.........recycling? -

The bible contains many internal contradictions. There's no way to prove any bible-based belief system because the bible itself is not clear or consistent.
There is no truth path, only the trackless path each person must tread. -

FOR God is not far off from anyone of us. you also are as guilty of applying your own assumptions my friend.I have embraced it ( my life )my friend, and have a great appreciation of the life i have been given. I try not to judge however who is perfect?? if we sit with what you say it would appear to me all things are lawful ?? are they??. if so the bible is no longer a necessary tool of guidance - for we are our own God. all the best -Ade

I am not referring to the circumstances that you find yourself in. Embrace/discover the essence of you, the essence/foundation upon which life itself manifests as "Ade".
"Ade" is only an expression of life, but "life" is what you are beneath this particularized expression known as "Ade". Discover what I am calling "life" is. Once you recognize what you really are there is no judging of anything going on. Life doesn't judge, it just manifests, flows, and expresses in various ways. That which judges is another expression of life, the ego/mind, but the ego is not what you really are. The ego sense comes and goes and gives us the sense that we are separate from one another, as well as separate from what has been called god - ego is what you have believed yourself to be. What you really are beneath the "idea of me"/ego is what I am pointing to. To rest in/as this is to live a life free of concepts and notions of something called "god" which others insist either does or does not exist. Religions and philosophies only keep in place this notion of separatness and the need to find completion in something outside oneself. You/the real you is already whole, already complete; the only difficulty is in not seeing this directly for oneself.
Are "all things lawful"? What law? Whose law? When you know what you are it's not as if one becomes devoid of common sense or goes on some will-nilly rampage where "laws" are thrown out the window. Just the contrary will be found. One lives life with a sort of serene reverence, for all is seen as part of oneself. That strikes me as a very moral way to live without the imposition of ideas of morality from an outside source. -

Ade, you can not know the "truth path" until you have a foundation in reality -- which poppers is eloquently pointing you to.
Asking questions about God, or life, or truth, is a fools errand if first there is no clear realization of who/what I am. For if our identity is false, so then is everything that persona believes to be. In other words: a lie, can not know truth. Does that make sense? If we view through a glass-darkly, everything perceived is dark.
When all beliefs regarding self and universe are absent, what remains? How deep does that go? Who/what, are you, really?
No matter what your precious Bible tells you, perhaps, just perhaps, the actual living truth of what the word G-O-D points to, is not so tiny and limited as to be absent or separate from what you truly are. I understand this can be offensive to Christians and other deity worshippers who embrace small definable concepts and beliefs of the divine....but you did ask.
If there truly is That which has no beginning and no end, what does that make you just beneath all the ego and beliefs of "self"? So, this is not an ego trip. Rather deep, honest and earnest investigation -- in a sense -- will be the end of "you" and an expansion of God. It's like a crucifiction.

I don't think that this is possible. What you are talking about are people's interpretations of Bible rules. There has never been, and never will be a church on the planet that will not violate someone's interpretations of the scriptures. Consider just one issue: Jesus statement that his followers would be no part of the world. What exactly does that mean? According to the JWs, that means that Christians must not celebrate Thanksgiving Day, must not stand for the National Anthem, and should not play in organized sports (just to name a few) They love to sneer at Christians who do participate in such activities. Why? Because those other Christians don't have the same scriptural interpretations as the Watchtower Society. If anyone has a "bone to pick" with a church, they can always claim that this particular church is in violation of scripture (their interpretation of scripture).
A much better focus might be toward the individuals true intentions. Obsessing over perfunctory rituals, practices, worship proceedures, and church codes has never brought anyone closer to God; (although this is what many warped religions such as JWs would have us believe). It seems to me that trying to chase after the "correct" practices is like chasing shadows. It seems to me that it is so much more important to align oneself with pure motives and intentions.

Thoughts, please indeed proofs of the true faith / church / religion . backed up firmly by scripture
These teachings I learned as a Witness I believe to be true, these along with the teachings of Christ are the center of my personal faith. The rest of the Bible I do consider seriously.Even so, I use my 'discernment' (Mark 13:14) and I'm very cautious as to what it actualy means in my life.
- God has a name (Jehovah) and is not a trinity.
- Jesus is God's first creation.
- The Angelic rebellion is the source of all our troubles.
- The Great Tribulation and Armageddon are literal and coming.
- God will use the worlds governments to destroy world religion.
- The Thousand Year reign of Christ is real.
- The Resurrection is the only hope for the dead to live again.
- The Little Flock will become a literal Heavenly Government.
- Satan and his Demons have a finite time to exist and will be terminated.
I'm sorry I don't have the scriptures with them. I'm hoping as an ex-witness you'll know them, if not I will be happy to get them for you.
I have left the Witnesses because of all the abuses directly or indirectly from the GB as I mention in my profile.
Best Wishes!

Flash and others thank you for the reply, i do and to my current understandings always will live my life as best i can in line with scipture. whilst i understand what other of you are trying to say. I wholly appreciate an offer to myself and others from GOD .GOD to my knowledge and acceptance of scripture is a Spirit person .although the bible cannot be perfect as it was not written, translated by perfect men. it contains valuble lessons for each individual ( as you point out individuals whom i believe can discover theirselves through scripture ) we all apply those lessons differently if we choose to accept the bible as the word of GOD. and as the title of the post and the original quotation of mine states , we all have reasons for backing up our own particular viewpoints. I personally feel that if i am guiding my own conscience ( free GOD given will ) showing love to others as best as humanly possible ( love your brother and neighbour ) and putting faith in Jesus Christ and believing on him, i am to a certain degree fulfilling what GOD has asked of me. GOD has introduced rules and regulations through the bible most of which were abolished by Jesus giving his life, the only one we really have now is LOVE. And if we follow that path it should theoretically allow us to perform closely to GODS wishes. hope i am making sense ( as i dont usually ) all the best GOD bless you all Ade
