Good call Crumpet. I'm going to stop eating my blintz and make myself some pancakes instead.
I heard a story the other day that this war is actually about water. The Hez' missiles have a range of over 100km, but the Israelis are only taking over a patch of ground about 20km wide; when the dust settles, the Hez' missiles will still be within range of anything that Israel cares about. However, the patch of land that Israel is invading stops at a river, which happens to be the only reliable water source for a long way, while Israel faces a major water crisis. Just a theory anyway; that it's just another resource war.
Be careful. It is illegal to boycott Israeli goods in the USA.
I find this disturbing; are there any other freedom of speech violations I should know about before visiting the US?
