Well, let's see.
The American flag hanging on our house.
The Stop Watchtower Abuse stickers on our mailbox and on our vehicles.
No Trespassing sign.
And that's just on the outside. Guess they'll never see the inside.

Yes, I have some of the above. Plus *gasp* one strident feminazi book and a few books on philosophy.
I have a flag flying.
Starting with the living room:
Videos: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, many unrated films including Harold and Kumar go to white Castle
Harry Potter books,
Bedroom: Sex toys, sex novels, sex games, lingera, collection of cross necklaces, lots of black gothic clothing
Attic: Pot leaf Flag "Legalize it", couple of bongs, pot leaf necklace, couple of pipes.
Ash trays strewn across the house
My JW mother just came to visit also, she wasnt too happy but she didnt say anything..
christine
no less than3000 rounds .223 ammo
expecting a little trouble, are ya, RR?
I noticed that a lot of things listed are, in themselves, not "apostate" or banned, but the guilt that was ingrained in us through repititive talks and articles on how to remain free of this "worlds" influence has caused us to list simple, normal things that the average person wouldn't think twice about.
The fact that so many of us, from so many different places, mentioned the same things or similar things, shows that it's not just our own misconception but that we all were indoctrinated to believe the same way.
YIKES, Crumpet !!! this is august, I hope it's not that old, and only the name of the pudding.Standards have slipped....crumpet mentioned cock rings and vibrators as well as lesbian and gay porn....and all you are shocked about it some lousy uneaten old christmas pud!LOL
you guys crack me up!
Arcadian - English Christmas Pudding is best eaten at least a year after its made - this one has a use by December 2007! Just in case anyone thinks my hygiene standards have slipped in my apostate years!
Crumpet -- "Large print New World Translation on floor of attic currently being used as a mouse mat" Hee Hee that's my favorite answer so far.
I have pictures of my daughter sitting on Santa's lap on my refrigerator. Ohhhhhhhhh How evil!!!!
My JW sister when she comes to town doesn't like all the Buffy the Vampire Slayer stuff she used to see in my oldest daughter's room.
The JWs would probably be shocked just coming up the walkway to my house. I have a statue of St. Francis in the front to greet them. Near the rose garden is a statue of St. Patrick and across the walk is a statue of Our Lady. On the wall above my bed is a Jerusalem Cross and on the left side of the dresser mirror hangs a Catholic Rosary, and on the right is a Russian Orthodox Rosary. However, the JWs would probably consider these items Babylonish rather than apostasy. Though I do have Crisis of Conscience and In Search of Christian Freedom in my library. Possession of these books would probably get one the apostate label
Lets see; some Menoras, a Mezzuzah on the doorpost, a Kippot - I guess it depends on who's doing the investigation whether to label these items apostate or not.
Shalom,
Moshe
ps- I do have some old and embarrassing WT books in my garage.
A large birthday banner hanging from my slider from my daughters birthday last night....crisis of conscience floating around....christmas decorations I bought on sale after christmas last year right after I left the JW's for good....and about 8 tattoos between me and my daughters!
