Congratulations and enjoy the joy and thrill of flying. I got my Private SEL in 1997 and had many, many hours of flying fun in Cessna's.....152's and 172's.
Haven't flown since shortly before 9/11. What used to cost me $36.00 to $42.00 an hour for a C152 is now over $80.00 an hour. 100LL has reached $4.00 a gallon here in Western PA.
Anyhow........fly as much as you can. Are you looking for a future in aviation? One thing for sure........if I ever hit the lottery, I will fly again.
I have a Sporty's Electronic Checklist for a Cessna 172P and if you are interested in it, PM me and I will send it to you free of charge.
