That was really funny, I'm a HUGE Kevin Smith fan so anything with him I will watch immediately. Yeah Prince is crazy.... his tirades though remind me alot of the older wrestlers I meet that are really bitter that the business has changed and they're no longer relevant. It seems to me that Prince is the same way, he still believes his hype from 1984 and now that the music industry has changed he's bitter and it couldn't possibly be him that's wrong it's the industry.... Grrrrrr....

Thanks for the link, that was really funny. Prince has always been a bit loco with or without the witnesses so being in dubland will probably suit him just fine.
I haven't ever seen any of Kevin Smith's films. I'll have to check Dogma out, sounds interesting

I expect Prince's next album will show him crucified for righteousness' sake.

Actually I am waiting for him to pull a Michael Jackson and disassociate himself and then have all the jws vilify him in the process. Granted MJ is a head case, but remember before he really went off the deep end, once he was no longer a JW, all the JWs who loved him, thought he was satan wearing one shiny glove.

The behavior that Smith describes (especially the behavior he said Prince's employees related to him) sounds honest-to-god like mental illness (narcisism? maybe?), not just a case of celebrity wierdness. He really has lost touch with reality and while it makes for entertaining stories it's sad because it can't be a great way to live.
Of course, since he *is* a celebrity and therefore sort of a cash cow to some of his employees they have a good reason to enable this behavior and not insist on treatment. Soon people like that are left with nothing around them *but* enablers.

What does he say at this end, what had annoyed him the most? (
And what was Princes reply about the guy stating that the white stole the music from the black?
Sorry, do not understand these two things. -

Princes reply about the guy stating that the white stole the music from the black
I think in this case Prince may have been referring to back in the day when there were well-known stars who recorded songs that were actually written by Black song writers without given them credit. I have heard Elvis had done this, although I wouldn't be able to say for sure or not.

Actually, the bra *does* fit.Black musicians have been exploited from the beginning, making millions for their producers and never seeing a dime.
