I often wonder if my old witness friends from my past are still in the 'truth' (God I hope not)? I know this site is pretty popular amongst ex-witnesses. And since most of us have 'fake names'...we could be talking to someone that we already know. So I just wanted to start a thread where possibly you could be reunited with old friends.

Well, for those that are DF'd or DA'd, that would work. As a fader, I don't think it would be a good idea for me. I have to consider my wife's feelings there. She is inactive, but wants to be sensitive to her family. They are nice people who were never as hardcore as my family. I couldn't care less personally, I'd love to slam the door shut on the org. But her fingers are still in it.

As grey matters brought out it is entirely personal but I for one would be thrilled to participate. I think that it would be great fun and who knows maybe meet up with some old friends.

I would love to find out some old friends had left the WTS. I think enough of my story is out there that anyone who really knew me would recognize who I was. I just hope they don't think they can't contact me because they had shunned me. If they are out that is the best news.
What we need is a site like classmates.com otherwise we will just have a million page thread that no one will wade through!

Hey, I've had my pictures posted all over JWD. If someone here knew me from the old congs., I would think (hope) they would have PM'd me. Edit: oh wait... that was like 14 years ago and I do look a bit different... Kevin Brandon, Southgate congregation, Garland, Texas. Not an apostate per se IMO, just an ex-JW. I guess I'm out.
