Yes that was it, there was no way in hell it was going to work out, I see that now and well life goes on.

Two things come to mind.
It was a rebound thing; she was still in love with the previous boyfriend.
Also, my inexperience having just exited the dub world. Didn't know myself or what I wanted.
Has it been 20 years already? I called her up a few years ago and we had a nice convo. Reminisced the good stuff. No regrets there.
