When my husband and I got married, we were on a total shoestring, esp. by Japanese standards (we were living in Japan back then). We didn't care! We've lasted 20 years so far!

CONGRATULATIONS, ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!!!!
My husband and I could not take our honeymoon until a year later. We couldn't afford anything. My husband won a trip and we were sent to Barbados for a week. It was worth waiting for, it seemed all the sweeter!
In the mean time we honeymooned in our little apartment. Wonderful memories!

Tomorrow is my aniversary, 32 years. I hope your's works as well. August 10 seems to be a good day, have fun, you will never forget it, well maybe, I did last year.
