at last years elders schools elders were told that df-ing was in order for those viewing certain kinds of pornography...in a recent letter semt to the elders this has been retracted...in the letter it addresses those who have been df-ed according to the information given just 6 months ago...it says the decision is not retro-active..the decision stands...doesnt even say get it sorted and do it now..it just mentions that perhaps the df one could be given some help..
lets hear it for divinely directed perfect justice

I wonder how many other pharisees would have talked to Jesus if they had a private internet

You do not get auto reinstated, the reasoning being that you don't get d/f for the sin, but the attitude towards to sin.
The entire system of d/f has nothing to do with the bible. Where does it say to form a committee to d/f people if unrepentant? And where does it say a person must be formally reinstated after a committee determines their repentance? Even the word disfellowship never appears. Paul simply said that a person called a brother practicing a sin should not be eatten with. When they stop the practice or stop being regarded as brothers then shunning automatically no longer applies.
