Thanks for the update. Reading that article and seeing the photos of the protesters on the bottom brought a smile to my face this morning. I hope we see more rulings like this one. All the WT does is take, take, take and they give NOTHING back to the people. Like Scully said they do zippo in charity work for the community. Therefore, why should they get tax benefits?

The WTS is anything BUT charitable.
That's right. They suck you dry and if you don't have anymore to give they spit you out.
I'm all for taxing the pants off Watchtower - but who do you think will really pay?! The rank and file will be told there's a deficit due to unfair worldly tax and would the congregation kindly dig deep. Then, the congregation will send a fat cheque for the amount asked for while Brooklyn sits on its fat backside reaping in more and more donations!

Fairness- they want fairness? Is it fair that they force death on small children because it's JW parents are too scared of the WT rules to allow a needed blood transfusion to save a life? They want an exemption while at the same time they call all the other churces evil and worthy of God's destrction? They want an exemption when they perform no charitable acts for the general population of the community, unlike the other Churches? The KH just doesn't see themselves for what they really are.
