If that is not disinformation then I don't know what is, it's the JWs trying to sanitise their past. The fact is that the WTS had a policy of whipping up enthousiasm among the R&F by directly or indirectly claiming the end is very near.

Far from being a spiritual activity it was in fact a commercial one motivating the -slave- work force to exert more effort to increase their book and magazine sales. They did it in 1925 and again in 1975 and in both cases blamed over eager R&F for the failed predictions.

Since I have been taught that certain, non-encyclopedic information does not belong on wikipedia, I have been directed to place such information on the WikiQuote site instead.

I will attempt to reproduce the old quotes.ca pages on this venue while incorporating my observations outside of the quotes in order to abide by the Copyright Act of 1976, 17 U.S.C. ยง 107 http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Watchtower_Quotes and put up some information.

I am thankful that this existed in the first place and it help me to see things much more clearly that the WTBTS has not acted as a faithful steward towards the people.

While I was requesting information on certain reverts, (edits made to a prior version) of some work I was updating in the introduction, I visited Jeffro's page and found this link at the bottom:
    http://www.witnesspedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
I am not sure what to make of it right now, but it does incite a smirk.

For the record, the reference to Witnesspedia was added to my Wikipedia Talk page by "Ftrboinrobr", who is unknown to me.

I do not endorse the content of Witnesspedia, though I found the site mildly amusing.
