Yes. An infamous troll named PMJ had several socket puppets that would magically appear to support him, but only on his own threads. He was busted a couple times
when he forgot to disguise the IP addresses.

I believe "estephan" who posted a thread a few weeks ago claiming to be the fds has also used brownboy, the word and a couple of other identities, but I don't recall him using them to support his view. It seems a pretty futile thing to do to me.

I'm not quite sure I fully understand the discussion here. If I check out that website (for sock puppets), will I get juiced or zapped or something? What do the sock puppets do?
