What is interesting is that from what I understand they have DF'd girls who have moved in w/ guys even though they have do not have proof that they are having sex. They DF'd them based on the look of impropriety. I believe if the roles were reversed and your mom pulled this on your dad, she would be DF'd faster then you could say Erectile Dysfunction!

I am confused by this statement. First of all JWs would not be able to "DF" the chick if she is not a JW. As for her claiming "defamation" because they DF her JW boyfriend who has ED, well it would not be her right to file a lawsuit of defamation against the WTBTS or the BOE if they DF him because JWs cannot say why someone is DF'd, so there would be no reference to her. And as a private organization, unfortunately, JWs have fought and won the right to DF people or kick someone out of the religion. As for defamation, depending on the state, as each state is different, "defamation" has elements you have to state in your cause of action and I believe, any alleged wrong doing alleged by the worldly chick would fail to meet a defamation count.

I just wonder what her problem is if she is living w/ a guy who was married, who clearly will not give up his "scriptural" wife by giving her grounds, yet lives w/ this chick. Sounds like a guy who would stick in for the long haul (that is until something better comes along, or the struggle gets too much)

Well, I don't know that I would want a man who is shunning his family and refusing to divorce a woman he clearly does not want to be married to. Again, if I were her, I would wonder as to his character.
