I bring this up because there was a 91-year-old woman baptized at the Rome convention a couple of weeks ago.
Was there someone that old (or close to being 91 years old) immersed at a convention you went to?

Gosh, I don't know. I was already out the door going off to lunch by the time the baptismal candidates came out.
we had an 89 year old man get baptised. He was contacted from the door to door work. He died not long after his baptism.
I wonder if he was just worried because he knew his time was up and was seeking religon, just in case?
The oldest I can remember was at a circuit assembly around 7 years ago, when a 78 year old man was dunked.
I remember an elderly woman in a wheelchair... they had to carry her into the pool, I think she almost drowned. Not sure how old she was, but at least past 60.
My father was baptised at 76
1989 or 1990 at the Hellaby assembly hall, an old man in his mid 90s got baptised. He was really frail and doddery - and wore a wetsuit and goggles.
I studied with and 'brought in' a man in the 70's who got baptised at 81. That must have been around 1977 or so. He died in 1981 at the age of 85, still active as a witness. In fact I think he might have been on his way to the KH when he had a little fender bender, got too excited at the scene and died of heart failure.

I was almost crushed, and then drowned like a bug with helping a 75 or 76 year old handicapped woman into a hot tub to get baptized. We had no business doing that, she and I could've drowned.
Dismembered
THERE ONCE WAS SOMEONE WHO WAS ABOUT 115 YEAR OLD IN ETHIOPIA WHO WAS BAPTIZED!
