Oh, so in the midst of everything else, college is goin well.

about 30 % of my high school graduating class came here, so its really just like high school part2.

I have 2 morning classes, and 2 night classes, so that way the majority of my schooling gets done on 2 days of the week instead of 4. Last night was my first night in my English 111 class. I already knew thaqt there was one witness in there, but its someone who I've kept up with, and someone who is cool with me, as I am.

SO me and him grabbed a seat beside each other. THen 5 minutes late, a girl from the spaish congregation who is widely known as a tattle tailer (but isn't exactly Ms. PerfectDub herself) walked right in. SHe looked at me and him first. Then she went and sat in the front of the room, and turned, and just watched us.

I turned to my friend and said "I guess you're screwed now" and she nodded yes.

He gave her the finger.

Then the teacher was about to split us up into groups, and guess who gets assigned to a group-- me and her.

She walks up tot the teacher, and whispers something about not being able to work with me, excommunitcation, religion, etc.

Then the teacher gets very visibly upset, and tells the girl that she will not facilitate her religiously driscriminatory issues, and furthermore, if it becomes a problem in the classroom, she will be taken directly to the Dean of Students (a black lesbian atheist).

So, I now can't wait for next tuesday.

Anybody have any ideas about how to make this girl squirm?

I love that your professor showed her how life in the real world really is. I'll try to think of some things to say/do.

Be as nice to her as you possible can. Greet her, try to talk to her, ask her opinion about class assignments. She's already got a black mark against her name with the instructor due to her "religiously driscriminatory issues". You don't have to actively do much else. When she tries to avoid talking to you, you'll probably get all kinds of questions from others in the class about what's going on. I doubt that she and the dub religion will come off in a positive light.

It should be interesting. I wonder if she'll try to transfer to another class.

What a great story. This chick is going to learn about the real world, that doesn't give a flip about the JWs or their stupid shunning policy! I just had a vision...this chick will be in next year's assembly, talking about how bad and inhospitable college is. Bring in "Crisis of Conscience" and read it before class. That will make her squirm.

I would say, ultimately, the thing that would piss her off the most would be to treat her with the utmost civility. Show her the same respect as you would others in the class.

LMAO!!! I love it! One of the best lessons a j-dub dweeb can get at University is that the real world does'nt tolerate "watchtower" horsesh*t like that. I have feeling its only a matter

Awesome! I love that your teacher immediately mentioned the religious discrimination - excellent! Bring it on!

Btw if the girl mentions it to the elders she is obliged to speak to you if you have to work together - it is considered the same as business - maybe then the elders will want to know why she is at college instead of regular pioneering!

I should say bringing some of your personal experience with the dubs where approrpiate to your lessons and any presentations or essays you have to give. But she's already got the term of to the worst possible start. Everyone knows she is a religious bigot of the worse kind,..
