    This is todays text!

    Saturday, August 26

[Jesus will] be regarded in that day with wonder in connection with all those who exercised faith.—2 Thess. 1:10.

In his role as Gog of Magog, Satan will launch an all-out attack against Jehovah’s peaceful Witnesses. Coming up "like clouds to cover the land," Gog’s hordes will expect an easy victory. What a shock awaits them! (Ezek. 38:14-16, 18-23) The apostle John writes: "I saw the heaven opened, and, look! a white horse. And the one seated upon it is called Faithful and True . . . Out of his mouth there protrudes a sharp long sword, that he may strike the nations with it." This invincible "King of kings" will rescue Jehovah’s loyal worshipers and annihilate all their enemies. (Rev. 19:11-21) Do you want to be among those who will stand in awe of the victorious Son of God? Then continue to nourish your faith and to ‘prove yourself ready, because at an hour that you do not think to be it, the Son of man is coming.’—Matt. 24:43, 44. w 1/15/05 18, 19a

Yeah, it was written by the wts, that's what's wrong with it.

Poor JW's. They can't be included in the "loyal worshippers" category because they think they know the day and hour. See past failed prophecy posts.

Swam of the I can't believe you post on this board class.

You mean aside from the fact that Jesus supposedly began his triumphal ride in 1914, but this Scripture attaches that ride to a time yet future when no one will expect it?

Yes, I see something wrong with it, it is 100% unfounded assertions strung together to reach a conclusion. Like all sophistry. Oh, and...I for one am glad you post here.

    Respectfully,

I think you're an instigator. People come here and post heartfelt stories about the heartbreak that they have experienced due to the org. Then you swoop in your with your little jabs and everyone gets so aggravated at you that they get sidetracked. When we should be supporting those that are hurt we are debating rubbish with you. Why do you come to this site if you are a faithful witness? It's obviously a site full of "apostates" and you have been warned by the society to steer clear. Do you have doubts about the org? Are you here for the info and support? Are you here to try and make people see the errors of their ways (like a WT vigilante)?

So that means all those in Kingdom Halls will be annihilated. Do you see something wrong? It's a little harsh, but then again these people want death and destruction, so why shouldn't they get a taste of the BIG A. Heartless, inconsiderate, cold blooded bastards desiring all to be slaughtered ... THE GOOD NEWS! Huh! The only good news these people preach is coffee breaks.

agapa, I no longer believe the the Bible is inspired by a superior being, so all of its prophecies about...anything... to me, are just humans trying to find a reason to go on, or humans recording historical events, myths, and legends, or humans tryng to control other humans, or nutballs ranting out their delusions. The WTBTS made a try at explaining, unifying, packaging and selling their version of what it all means, but they have been just as hypocritical and unable to even live up to their own faulty interpretations as all the myriad of other religions on earth. Old Judge Joe got at least one thing right (to my mind), religion is a snare and a racket.

Well said swam. I am wondering if agapa said "aye" at the dc to this:

We will resist with all of our strength, the spirit of the world that manifests in it such things as

materialism, unwholesome entertainment, overindulgence in food and alcoholic beverages, the

plague of pornographic material and the curiosity or temptation that lures one into association with outsiders

    through Internet chat rooms.

It's rather hypocritical for any jw to be here if they did say "aye" to that.

I'm sure Agapa has always been the sort of JW that most JWs look upon as weak and really not one of them.
