dont go on field service alone.

Sweetheart if it was up to me id gladly sanction a bit of porneia. But you know, the 144 000 are all watching from heaven. What would they think???
So just keep your hands on the table where everyone can see 'em.

They'd probably be jealous, and wish they were in our
bedshoes. -

Linda! I'm glad you're having such a good time now! By the sounds of it you're gonna make that 144,000 fall from their heavenly thrones!
Katie! Nice to see you paid so much attention at the beatings, I mean meetings!

Interestingly, fornication was not a capital offense under the Mosaic law. Only if the man and/or woman was married/engaged to someone else were they put to death. It is because it was a property issue not a sexual moral issue.
(Deuteronomy 22:22-27) 22
"In case a man is found lying down with a woman owned by an owner, both of them must then die together, the man lying down with the woman and the woman. So you must clear away what is bad out of Israel. 23 "In case there happened to be a virgin girl engaged to a man, and a man actually found her in the city and lay down with her, 24 YOU must also bring them both out to the gate of that city and pelt them with stones, and they must die, the girl for the reason that she did not scream in the city, and the man for the reason that he humiliated the wife of his fellowman. So you must clear away what is evil from your midst. \
(Deuteronomy 22:28-29) 28 "In case a man finds a girl, a virgin who has not been engaged, and he actually seizes her and lies down with her, and they have been found out, 29 the man who lay down with her must also give the girl’s father fifty silver shekels, and she will become his wife due to the fact that he humiliated her. He will not be allowed to divorce her all his days.
(Men were allowed to have multiple wives/concubines as well)

The point being, God did not forbid sex before marriage, or human frailty there of, but had them marry. This would be a protection to the children or the reputation of the ones involved. God is asking them to be responsible for their actions.. not saying the action was bad.. Jesus didn't say anything about sex before marriage.. and the word, fornication, pornia (in Greek) comes from the word for a prostitute or a harlot.. meaning illicit sex.. But a man and a woman who are planning on marrying may not be considered fornication.. Meanings change after 2,000 years.
