The cellular phone industry continues to spend boatloads on advertising, much of it very funny, to the delight of funny commercial lovers like myself.
A few years ago, when Sprint changed from 9:00 to 7:00 the time when night (free) minutes start on their cellular plans, they had a commercial where their spokesperson (the black trenchcoat guy) announces the change to a small group of customers, and they all start falling down and swooning and crying for joy, it was so funny.
More recently there was the T-Mobile commercial where you hear one side of several phone conversations being carried on by a hyper and endlessly-talking businessman: "...and so I said, that's no Saint Bernard, that's my grandmother!" "Oh, I'm sorry sir, I didn't realize this was a conference call, and I apologize..." LOL. There's a couple more commercials in that series, but the businessman is the funniest by far.
Another T-Mobile one that I liked was when the guys are out camping one guy gets stung by a bee or something and his face is swollen up like a basketball, the expression on one of the other camper's faces when he comes out of the tent is priceless.
But my all-time favorite is the Sonic "Secret Admirer" commercial...."that's nice too..." I also loved the Blue Man Group Pentium commercials from a few years ago.
And of course Mentos commercials are fantastic...
