Can Boulder officials look any dumber? They do a terrible job with collecting evidence when the girl was killed and now this.

He'll still face child porn charges in california - he disappeared several years back before they could prosecute. Where would you rather rot in jail - California or Thailand?

I wish that were true. Actually, they followed the rules and did what has to be done - they had no choice in the circumstances. What is really miserable in the whole scheme of things is the way that the US media handled this issue from day one. The Holy Trinity of modern life - sex, celebrity and dollars is alive and well it seems. HS

I still maintain the parents are to blame in this one. One theory was that t her Mom figured out the Father was molesting her and she killed the girl. I think I believe that. They acted so strangely after her death.

When this first came up I was advocating caution. There was a rush to judgement when this news broke and I think some people forgot the whole innocent until proven guilty thing.
The local police have been screwing the pooch since the first phone call was made. I don't know why anybody expected it to be different now.
