I can't....sorry.
But I just have to say....What has the world come to, when someone needs to say they are talking about the actual location in France when they mention Paris. Ugh!!
I just stayed at the Hilton right by the CDG. Very Nice, and you can walk to the RER to get into the city.

Go to Fodor's Travel Forums, and if this information isn't already in the message boards to the left, you can ask the question. The board has excellent travel info. Remember to click on Europe. Good luck!
I haven't been to Paris for ages and this is not going to be much help but I'm taking my wife Bubble to Paris next February for her 40th birthday.
We've booked the George Cinq but that is right in the centre of Paris and rather expensive.
If you really want to it cheap and clean take a look at Etap Hotel (Arcor).

It is 39EUR a night.
It is very, simple but as you decribed cheap, clean and safe. It is rather new- I was booked there myself, it is okay.
There is a free shuttle service to the RER station.
The Formule One is in the same building, even a little cheaper but I have no experiences with this.
Enjoy Paris.
Andre, unless you're arriving late at night I wouldn't recommend staying near the airport. If you are coming in late, or just happen to love giant soulless concrete buildings there are a million Holiday Inns and Hiltons and similar generic airport hotels there.
Hey FunkyDerek,
We are flying into Dublin first, (back in 2001 I spent a month in Ireland mostly Dublin), we are staying at the Harding Hotel I love Ireland.
Thanks for the Info GermanXJW, I will check it out,

I think it would be fun to go to the Louvre, and ask what is beneath the inverted pyramid : )
