"On the basis of this faith in God and in his provision for
salvation, have you dedicated yourself unreservedly to do
GODS WILL henceforth as he reveals to you through
JESUS CHRIST and through THE BIBLE under the
enlightening power of the HOLY SPIRIT?"
From the late 1980s the question now asked is:
"Do you understand that your dedication and baptism
identify you as one of Jehovah's witnesses in association
with Gods spirit directed organisation?"
Why has the BAPTISM Q changed?

The question to ask is where are the baptism questions in the Bible? Where in the Bible does it show any Christian answering questions before being baptized, even the Gentile Christians who had not grown up knowing the Hebrew Scriptures?

The current Baptism Questions were written by lawyers! That shows you to what extent the Holy Spirit guides the Watchtower Society.--VM44
Corrected spelling error, had written lawyerx instead of lawyers, but "Lawyer X" isn't inaccurate, as no one knows who the lawyer was that made the changes in the questions.

The lawsuit that resultied in the Watchtower Society changing its baptism vows needs to be found.
It would be useful to know the exact reasons why the Watchtower lost the case. Knowing those reasons might help with current or future cases involving the Watchtower.
The transcript of that court case also should be made available on the internet.
