Wouldn't it be funny though, if they asked to meet with the Watchtower society as they are their representatives on earth.

Hilarious. And wouldn't it be just hysterical if pigs could fly?

A couple of things. First it would mean that they had knowledge of how to travel from one place to another whatever the distance and safely. Secondly, they would be able to impart information about the universe that they have traveled in. And third we might get answers to the God issue? I would not be afraid of the visitors, we have enough Nukes to destroy this planet and anyone else who comes here to do us harm.

Yes, I would be frightened, because I don't think the human race as a whole is ready for it. If it happened, once the die-hard sceptics were convinced it was actually happening, I believe there would be mass hysteria and riots. Led mainly by the un-intelligent and the fanatically religious. Earth would quickly descend into chaos and the aliens would, rightly, exterminate us as a threat.

But the other alternative - that we are alone in the universe, is just as frightening. Just imagine the vast emptiness out there and we are the ONLY intelligent beings in the universe!

And we could blow it and the universe would again be completely empty of rational thought.

    Now that's a scary thought.

Interesting thought. I would be very apprehensive for a few reasons.

It would force a revolution of thought and belief throughout all religions and cultures. Such upheaval would have consequences though in time, things would settle, hopefully.

Also, the question of motive. Why are they here? No matter what they say, actions speak louder than words. To believe their intent would be benign though nice in theory could be disastrous. Caution required. Then again, how could we protect ourselves from such an advanced species?

As for the coverup scenario, this depends on how contact is made methinks. If they wanted to make themselves known, they could.

    JamesThomas,

That is an extremely interesting piece of documentary evidence. It sort of explains why the US doesn't seem all that concerned about North Korea and Iran when it comes to developing nuclear weapons. The aliens won't allow them to be used, anyway.

    Respectfully,

Everything I know about space aliens is from unfortunate individuals over the years who have been abducted by the M-----F-----s. They seem to be extremely interested in the lower colons of humans. Anal probing is not a way to make new friends!
