In my cong there were a lot of depression sufferers and a couple with M.E. I was told that one of the back rooms was named the B.O. room as thats where all the brothers and sisters who were allergic to everything had to sit.
There was also a lot of common colds floating around most of the time as quite a few people would still attend the meetings even when contagious :(
I bet it was worse than a doctor's waiting room.

Hey when you were a kid getting sick got you out of school and you had an excuse note for the teacher. Same difference- Some JW's subconsciously want to get out of service and meeting responsiblity- answer?- get sick or act sick. Maybe they will have time at home to think about WT teachings and to
leave or fade form the KH. I sure hope so.
There are a lot of people in my Congregation with ME/CFS. I've never met anyone outside of the Witnesses with this problem, although I'm sure there are some.
I'm not surprised to hear that this seems to be a worldwide problem.
