I am a bit suprised that this is an issue he supports. (Brad Pitt) His family is from Springfield MO and it is really country and conservative up there. But seeing he is an actor, maybe that has led him to be open minded. I too think he is just using his position to bring attention to the marriage law situations. I guess if you have the power, it would be natural to use it to get things done. I am sure his statement will draw attention. That is a given.

Well, Brad did not make that one up.That was what Charlize Theron said when reporters asked her if she would marry Stewart Townsend a long time ago. If someone who has never been married says it it actually sounds like an intresting point of view. When someone who just got divorced says it, it sounds like a cop out. Because the prohibition of gay marriage did not stop them from marrying the first time. What, were they not as socialy aware then?
