Tapestry was one of the best selling albums ever. Neil Sedaka wrote the well known song "oh Carole" for her (Carole King). She also wrote a lot of great songs for other singers eg "will you still love tomorrow", "the locomotion".
Restrangled you are right that is the "unchained melody" it went to number one several times after re release. -
