  I am so angry right now. My father worked his butt off for years at his job and for the WBTS.

  In the 60's he was a painter and use to bathe in benzine to clean him self off. This was before anyone new this was a cancer causing chemical.

  He worked for years at assemblys, and as an elder etc.

  He realized the foolishness of 1975 and started saving big time leaving my mother a nice savings account plus a huge retirement fund.

  He developed kidney cancer at age 60 due to the Benzine and survived. At age 65 he was able to retire and work on the things he loved. He was always a car enthusiast and had won awards for his 1934 Ford Roadster and was working on a very exotic car which I am not sure exactly what it was. I do know that the "shell" sold for $18,000.00 when he died.

  Anyway, he started having trouble walking, finally one day fell and was diagnosed with bone cancer at age 63. He died about 5 months later at age 64.

  I am furious because he died frugally, denied cancer treatment, just hospice care and there was no funeral.

  HERE IS THE KICKER....MY MOTHER HAS SENT THE SOCIETY $200,000.00 OF HIS HARD EARNED MONEY.

  HOW DARE THEY USE IT FOR AN 80 YEAR OLD PLUS FART THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE GOING TO HEAVEN.

  DAMN I AM SO PISSED OFF I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY ANGER.

  MY FATHER DIED AT HOME IN A BED BY HOSPICE WITH MYSELF AND MYMOTHER TAKING CARE OF HIM.

  I PLAYED HIS FAVORITE SONG ON THE PIANO WHEN HE WAS DIEING.

  HOW DOES THAT ASS GET TO SPEND MY FATHER'S HARD EARNED MONEY FOR HEART TROUBLE?

  One correction, I said he was able to retire at 65, it was 62.

  Did she use this feature of the "donation" arrangment? There is a chance she could get it back...but she will have to be persistent.

  Sorry to hear about the loss of your father at such a young age. My dad died in his 60's too. You have every right to be totally p***ed off! What was your mother thinking? Never mind I know the answer to that. What a shame. But don't worry I am a firm believer in "what goes around - comes around" and I can see the WT getting theirs soon. Lilly

  Just for fun she did the donate it and get a better interest rate until she dies. Written off on taxes etc. The princaple is non refundable. One of the WBTS get a widow's money and run.

  My version...."Get my fathers retirement income and spend it on keeping old farts alive"..although my father wasn't allowed to keep his own rearend alive on his own money.

  Dear R, I am so sorry you lost your dad. And your mom will never see the injustice of it.

  That's a HUGE gift, when you think about how hard he had to work to get save that kind of money.

  There's nothing I can say that can make you feel any better--just know you have every right to be angry, and I'm shaking my head in disgust, too.

  I'd be angry too. These blokes haven't a worry in the World - makes me wonder why they want to prolong their life on Earth when they believe they have a better existence just waiting for them.
