Failed predictions

  Well,

  When all this happened last Tuesday I predicted the market would fall 600 to 1000 points and that gold and oil would go way up in price.

  Well, I got 1 out of 3 right. Batting .333. I sure wouldn't want to try to make a living on being able to predict stuff right.

  Just posting this to show that even a dummy like me can get things right once in a while, but that the intricacies of life are too complex for anyone to get everything or even a high percentage of things right. So, as I always say. LIVE LIFE.

  My take on all this is that the 700-ish point fall we will probably see today represents what air was left in the bubble that was on the way down anyway. It may even prove true that a bottom was found today, and that from here on things will stabalize.

  hey joel, maybe you should predict a 600-1000 point drop once a year, say around sep-oct, to test your accuracy rate.
