My definition is this- An apostate abandons something he once believed in
Was it not the Watchtower Society who in all the years have commanded the R & F never to associate with the Scarlet colored wild beast?
Did not the Watchtower leaders themself abandon this belief when they started associating with this "beast"?
According to the definition of apostate, isn't the WT then the "real" apostate?

Yes Ian, we seem to be building a new career for ourselves, don't we, albeit an unpaid, if not unrewarded, one! I'm not sure about gatecrashing the public talks though, but it's a consideration....
We just emailed the Press Association with info on the tract campaign, and will post any replies we get.

What we're doing seems to be having an effect around here anyway, but it will be even better when the article Trev wrote, along with the scans of the tract, get in the paper! The local dubs really will be scupperred then lol!
We will be notified when it's going to appear, and will post links so people can view it for themselves, it should be around the 9th of October. We did think of dropping hints about it being in the paper, but we decided that it would be better to surprise them.

mum is kinda strange about it, she is curious to know if its all bad but stays on the right side of it (from a dubs perspective).

Does he actually know whay an apostate is? I don't mean the jws demonised version of what it is, but the dictionary definition? It actually means someone who has abandoned a previously - held religious belief, which would make around 33% of the people in my old kh apostates, as many of them joined the jws from other religions. You might point this out to him next time he says it.
Actually, I don't mind being called an apostate, especially for the reasons I've been given the label this week. It seems the local jws are unhappy with me and Trev, and making them unhappy doesn't really worry me.

That is great. Every category that they define as false religion, they fall in. They should have some interesting visits to the door. Has anyone read Holocaust Politics. The book has twelve pages that discusses JW according to its index. The author is a philosophy professor. I was just wondering what the authors full opinion of witnesses was.
