That's great news one more person escaping the WTS control. The real apostates are the GB first and foremost then the overseers and elders and finally all the rest of the JWs. They have twisted too may scriptures to be anything else.

You're smarter than me...it took 35 years for me to get out. I hope things go as smooth as possible for you in your exit. If you have JW family, I know you've read the horror stories that many of us have gone thru and are still going thru. Bad things can happen, but, the good things...the good honest feelings of being free from lies that have bound us for so long...feels amazingly good.
I felt good when I got to where you are now, but, I was also a little scared, too. There was this feeling of, "Hmmmm...what now ?" I still don't have that answer, but, whatever *it* is...*it* will come to me naturally this time. This time around...*I* know the right questions to ask. It's also a good feeling to admit -- with no sense of fear of godly retribution -- that "I simply don't know !" (When it comes to god, goddess, creator, etc.)
Either way, 'The world is your oyster', Go for it !
