Welcome to the real world, it's astonishing how something as innocent as birthday parties were banned because a fringe lunatic with an axe to grind named Rutherford decided so. There is no ban on birthdays in the new or even in the old testament. The same man also thought of medical science as being pagan and discouraged his followers from consulting it.

Thanks Sparkplug. I sort of did our own inro thread several days ago. It's called "Hello, I'm new here". Yep, Little Drummer Boy is my hubby. We came to our decision to leave together. And thanks to everyone else for their well-wishing. Off to Joy's book signing in a couple of hours!
