They really should pic some of these eager chompping at the bite, 30 something year olds. That would be a very good organizational move, instead of getting those near retirement age.

Problem is, that would go against everything they have taught. The door to heaven closed in 1935. Occasionally, a slave is

unfaithful and needs to be replaced, so the door cracks open for a moment- a person with YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE is

chosen to replace that unfaithful one in heaven. I'm sure the GB could make the average JW believe it is necessary to put a

30-ish brother there, but the Governing Body, itself, would be disturbed by this break in doctrine. From Ray Franz' book, I

think many of these men truly believe the stuff they teach.

They're old somethings, I don't know if farts is really the right word for them.

Undecided, I do respect my elders most of the time, but when they run a multi billion dollar corparation, that dictates morals for all its followers, and harms so many people that have put thier trust in them, that's when I start calling them old farts. Other wise i respect those of older age, as long don't harm me or my family.

But seriously the GB are old men set in their ways, and those that follow their teachings are bound to age prematurely and become just like them dull,boring, and extremely close minded no matter how young they are in years..

Well they outa just retire the whole lot of them senior GB guys and get a bunch of young farts to sit in the fart laiden GB chairs at those fart scented GB meetings(probably some can't control thier bowels).

Here's somewhat of an off topic comment about Garret Losch; but funny. A number of years ago, he gave a talk to the Bethel family stating that watching football (American) was not acceptable for members of the Bethel family. Bethelites had a field day with this. The running joke around Bethel was that the NFL stands for "Not For Losch". Losch however, was not so amused by the Bethel humor.
