I was reading another thread and wondered why it was that the perfect angels began to have sexual urges??? I also wondered if the resurrected ones were not to procreate why a loving God would put them on the earth to tease them. JThey're going to be perfect too, will they eventually have these urges too, just to be destroyed when it's all said and done. Just a thought.

Id love to 'have' an angel. Id be hoping it would be a really fantastic screw. It seems a bit less than holy tho that they were up in heaven, perfect, and leering down at women. Seems nobodys satisfied with their lot!

Someone posted a topic on this a while back, too lazy to look it up. But the point was made that if "perfect" angels had sexual desire, God must have created them with boatloads of testosterone. So if God created these angels with the potential to feel sexual attraction, but then made it a sin of the highest order to actual try to fulfill that desire, that paints God as rather cruel, no?
Then again, if it's all just a fairy tale, who cares?

The Resurrected will have the anatomical features of a Ken and Barbie doll, since surely Jehoobie would not have the inclination to recreate all the sinful bits and pieces belonging to the "wicked system of things".....Remember, eventually the "paradise" earth will be completely full of dubs, thus, nobody will need to procreate anymore and we can forever say goodbye to our satanic sexual urges! LOL

Somehow angels are supposed to be able to materialize bodies complete with sperm that is interfertile with human eggs.
In the prescientific mind such things are possible and unquestioned. Materialization is perceived as some sort of capacity that angels have naturally. They kind of do a little "uuhh" and they become material complete with reproductive capacity. Why would God create them with such a capacity. Why didn't he give them "blanks" to shoot?
Pardon the expression but that whole scenario in a scientific view is just "nuts".
Even science didn't discover the nature of sperm and eggs until they developed microscopy.
In the Bible they thought that males had the seeds and females had the soil. Women were fertile soil or barren soil. They didn't know that the male had only half of what made up another human.
This uninformed thinking is the basis of sin and salvation. When Adam sinned he had little people inside that shared his transgressions.

I never did like or accept the JW explanation of how things would be in the new system with resurrected people and people who lived through armageddon and the topic of how the resurrected ones would not have sex, etc.
The problem with this scenario is that there are two classes of people on the earth. Those that DO and those than DON'T (or can't). Here you have the stage for friction because what would happen if somebody in one class wanted somebody in the other? I mean, isn't the whole point of the new system to start over with peace and harmony.
Sounds like trouble to me.

That's the problem with WTBTS dogma is that they confuse the kingdom of the heavens and paradise earth . You are talking about the second resurrection which takes place after the millenial reign , the first resurrection is for the 144k only . They will have to prove their loyalty to christ this time , I think there is a new scroll opened or something like that , hard to say if sex is allowed or not , probly not . As I see it, you have to leave all fleshly desires behind in order to enter the kingdom of the heavens (city of new jerusalem) in order to be saved as Revelation once again shows that the kingdom actually descends to save the faithful from the evil doers . Revelation 21:27 .
