    Stepping out of the Shadows

This thread represents my one-hundredth post since
registering with this discussion board since August 06.
If anyone ever asked me whether or not I was one
of Jehovah's Witnesses, chances are that is some-
thing I would aptly deny because of sheer embarrass-
    ment.

    Wanting to right things

On previous posts some of my topics of discussion
were about missing some of the friends in the different
congregations I was formerly associated with. And all things
being equal, some of the greatest friends that I found
were in the organization. There were about a half dozen
or so that I will never forget for the rest of my life.

    Wanting to extend an apology

To my friends Glen, Kenny and Hanya Jones I wish you
all the best. To my friends Xavier, Steven and Leo I say
    likewise.

    Choking back the tears

I have thought about you all, throughout the years; but
sadly, we can never united as friends because I disfellow-
shiped the Watchtower over the United Nations scandal.

I will remember you all, always and forever, and I am sorry
that a corporation masquerading as a religion exerts absolute
control and power over this situation.

    Peace, Love and Goodwill

Hey man, Good to see you....

Don't ever, ever, ever be embarrased about who you are/were... your "REAL" friends will accept you no matter what....

    PEACE, Mike

Richard! Things will only get better, but in time.

I thought I had friends in the bOrg, but NOT ONE was a real friend. I only found those when I left the bOrg.

Good luck in your recovery! Onwards and Upwards now!

If it's any help to you, I used to sit and cry in my Counsellors office about the friends and relatives who I knew would never speak to me again if I was DF'd or DA'd. Five years on I don't give a monkeys left bollock and I wish they'd all disappear and stop reminding me of their crackpot cult ideas!

    Things get better.
