The cyclists saw me taking the pic and I got big smiles as they passed me
Very nice colors Lady Lee.
If I would have taken the pictures of the kids, they would have called the cops....lol

Down some city streets
someone's garden filled with autumn flowers I have never seen before
I usually avoid taking pictures of people but these two were so far off that they wouldn't have been recognized.
JH I went from a Kodak 1.3 MP to a Kodak 5.0. The new one cost less than the old one when I first got it. The 5.0 is the one I used to take video that I posted last week. Did a far better job than I expected.
All the images above were taken with the 5.0 and I shrunk them down to post here but they were all 4 times larger than what I have posted
The only thing I don't like is that it saves files as jpgs intead of tiff or raw. I didn't think about that until I had already taken a lot of pics
Lady Lee, I think that the lens is the most important feature in a camera, then the mega pixels.
Taking pictures outside, there is plenty of light, but inside I would appreciate bigger lens in order to have more light.
Then the make of the camera.
I guess I'd have to read a lot to know which camera would be a good buy.
definitely do your homework before buying
I was stunned when I starting exploring what this camera can do. I can choose the type of picture I am taking and it sets the camera up for me. Blew me away.
Something you might want to do before buying is go to the website of the different cameras and download the manuals. They will give you a great idea of features and how easy it is to use.
Then go to the store and try them out. If it doesn't feel right in your hand then pass on it
So, JH, Do you live on the other side of the tracks?
Uhmmmmm....Which side is the other side?
Seriously, all the photos are beautiful. I love the fall, except for the reminder that winter is around the corner.
Hubert
Yeah, not far from the tracks. Close enough to feel a 5 on the richter scale earthquake a few times a day.
Hey JH
The only thing missing in your pictures are the hobos by the tracks and the homeless in the park. Obviously, you didn't take those pictures by my place. They are beautiful in all seriousness. Also LL'S.

I like your idea of autumn.
(NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SNOW !!!)
