This is not a joke, there's a nut in Puerto Rico who SWEARS he's Jesus. He has a couple of million followers who seem to believe him too. There's rumors floating around that he's planning a HUGE protest in front of the WTS headquarters in Brooklyn.

He is even worse than the FDS who claim that they were appointed by God as his plenipotentiaries on earth, when Jesus returns he will appear in the clouds not as a human but with myriads of angels.
I thought he came back in 1914, or was it 1919. No wait, he was here (i.e. "presence") but he has not "come" yet.

This story reminds me of the Jewish version (you know, those people who invented the whole messiah thingee?). There's a very popular rabbi who's now passed who many in the ultra frum (orthodox) community believe is Maschiach (messiah). http://www.rickross.com/reference/lubavitch/lubavitch1.html I have read some of his teachings and was quite impressed myself.
You want to know what I believe? Well, I'm going to tell you anyway: we are all potential messiahs. To ourSelves first. Then "to" others (though the biggest step is realizing that separation is one of the biggest Illusions).
Each one of us is so infinitely powerful in our ability to touch others for "good or bad", we could move mountains...we could heal our world. But it must start with the Self...always within.
