The WTS is worse than any big corporation...companies pay their workers and usually give them some sort of severance package when they let them go...or they are at least eligible for unemployment benefits. Bethelites are just thrown into the streets while the higher ups mumble something about Jehoobie seeing to their needs. How devastating!

no social security benefits, either. that's gonna really hurt.

I wonder why almost all news and things I see on this board go back 10 years or more. Here's a new tought for you, get over it. Quoting ten year old articles or talks aren't going to change a thing.

Hi R6laser, 99 was 7 years ago. Just out of interest, why do you post on this board?

Rlaser, are you going to pretend you didn't realize this post about bethelites goes hand in hand with recent information about bethel layoffs?

go back to sticking your fingers in your ears and saying "lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalallalalalalalalalallalalalallal"

    duh!

    back to the topic,

I know 2 guys who are going to bethel, I think both to the "farm". I guess they have no idea.

You mean like V's thorough breakdown of the Revelation book updates before the JWs even had their KMs?

Are you referring to the most recent blood doctrine debacle in the November KM that we have a month ahead of time?

WAC was showing that there was a progressive move toward these recent and ongoing cutbacks in Bethel personnel by referencing articles leading to that end, i.e. "The writing on the wall." I don't think he could have been more clear without spelling it out for you in block letters. Why are you so peevish? If you were half as publicly critical of the things that go on in your congregation...you wouldn't simply be faded.

Yeah, like the new tract (kn37). which we read on here 2 months before any dub saw it, like the news about new gb members, which we knew about last August, the day it happened, Schroeders death, Sydlik's death, both on here on the day they died. All ancient history huh?

If you don't like posts like this, don't read them.

WAC is using the post to show that the wts have been preparing for what is happening now for years, a bit like the doctrinal changes they have to make when time runs out on something they've predicted. They've sucked all the usefulness out of these people and now they are disposing of them, with no money, no home and no savings. Aren't they such loving people?

It's a corporation so it has to do what is more profitable, but I didn't know that they had 17 000 slave workers toiling away for a pittance, that's a smart way to reduce overheads. And then by dismissing those that became superfluous you save even more. Then they will expect the proper reward from God for their service to the WTS.

I wish they would use "new technology" to preach the good news, so no one had to go door to door anymore. Or how about some "old technology"...............the T.V.

I post here because this is an internet 'forum' where people can post.

Oh wow its 7 years instead of 10! But seriously why is it that everything news related to the jws is a big event to all of you here? Were most of you really screwed that bad? I just left and nothing ever happened to me. Its called taking control of your life and moving on.

You mean like V's thorough breakdown of the Revelation book updates before the JWs even had their KMs?

Ok, and what does this information do for you? What's the purpose of it? I really don't see a purpose, big freaking deal that you got some news before everybody else. Congratulations!

I'm going to go back and search for 'Big Announcement' threads in the forum there should be at least a few going on today talking about something big that's supposed to be happening in the secretive world of the jws, so it should be fun.

You know R6, if YOU care so little, YOU could just leave. What are YOU trying to prove to US? WHO is making the big deal here? YOUR argument is self-defeating.
