No single-sister competetion in my hall. It's all grandmas or middle-aged women competing over who can best "mommy" the young lads in the hall with good food. It's a great competetion, let me tell you!
Restrangled- cor you lucky thing, he sounds gorgeous.
candiddlynuts- i iron things when i need them, i don`t waste my life pre-ironing either.
sspo- it was also in the states, as my friend was American, and she was sooo materialistic, but i liked her.

Hi Dido - Isn't it more awkward getting the board and iron out more often than if you were to do a whole load?

I hate ironing, and the only time I ever do it nowadays is if Trev, who doesn't mind ironing at all, isn't available to do the honours. I certainly don't miss having to do that chore.
I love it. The only thing I don't like about is, is opening and closing the ironing board.
Moomin- i`d rather get out the board than stand there for hours ironing, as after you put it away, it usually needs redoing anyway. I know what you mean tho` it is quite therapeutic to iron, sort of soothing in a way.

Do you really think so Dido? I don't find it either of those things, and I'm so happy now Trev does all the ironing here!
Linda (of the I hate ironing class)
Well sort of Linda, but i can think of better things to to than that to relax ! Anyways, how come you lot get all these good guys?

I'm just lucky, I guess. I don't think Trev is the best thing that's ever happened to me, I KNOW he is. I always liked him, and when he left the wts almost 7 years ago I gave up on him, but kept in touch, hoping he'd come back then, of course. Now I'm glad he didn't come back, and got me out instead.
