Honestly, I'm bad with names when I can't put a face with them, (why I use my photo for avatar), but like Warlock said, I get to know people the more they post.

it is enough to know oneself. knowing more than oneself is the epitome of being a know it all.

I don't put that much effort in to it. I just respond to each person, as they respond. I don't have the time to remember the history and story to each person. Although, I will look back on people some times if I see them do a flame out. Just to see what lead up to it.

I have a hard time remembering the names of the people I meet face to face. I am awful with names and it is irritating/frustrating…If you find a good way to remember names let me know.
Heck just the other day I forgot my dogs name and called him something else.

That is what I call it when people go into flame wars to the point that they get booted or banned from a message board. I have seen it happen many times. You will see someone being all nice and all. Then you see them on a thread just going nuts on someone or something, next thing you know they are gone and you know what happened ... flamed out.

I am so terrible with names! I have a hard time remembering alot of them on here to. And then to top it off, you get friends request on myspace, with their real names and pics, and have to try and remember who is who from the jwd! LOL

The funniest one was when my wife had a visiting elder and his wife for lunch. They spent the entire song trying to figure out who the artist was, and I spent the entire song trying to change the subject. I couldn't tell them, "Buttlight".
