  The only problem with these programs is that they take a great deal of time to pay and actually involve a good deal of effort supplying information about yourself, etc...and lead to a LOT of junk emails. I know this because I started signing up with hundreds of different programs two years ago. Most went out of business before any money was paid.

  There are a lot of legit sites out there, and I am not doubting your sincerity. With many you have to reach a certain dollar amount before a check is issued (say, $20, $30 $50 ). However, these people need the money now. I think it would be more helpful for us to send in small donations now.

  Just my opinion...I am posting this because I don't think many people realize the time involved in signing up for these programs and all the junk mail that it will create. I would hate for people to be upset with you because of this.

  and there's always the tried and true 'keyword'....if you have a fav charity such as the Red cross,Salvation Army etc,you can go to that one site alone. Tina

  Eyebrow: Thanks for your concern. It might be true that it takes a while to get paid from these program, but at least it's a way to contribute without giving money from your own pocket.

  This is very mean Tina. You might not want me to make a difference, but I do. You, obviously, are not a victim of Terrorism. Many are going though hardships because of this. They are the victims and the ones we should help.
