My daughter told me about her first HBO routine on 10/14/06.
I didn't see it and had never heard of her before. My daughter is going to tape the show for me.
She said it was very funny!

I've seen some of her stuff on TV and she is very funny! I think it's partly the way she talks, she's a funny lady!

I watched a Wanda Sykes routine from a couple of years back it was hilarious, She also has a recurring role on Julia-Louis Dreyfuss's new sitcom called the "New adventures of old Cristine". I also think it is her manner ,voice and just the way she delivers the line that makes her so funny.

i love wanda, but her new special was not her best work. there were some super honest, very cool parts but not a lot of fall down laughter. the fall down laughter came with the Katt Williams special. THAT was hilarious
