JW books for sale, hire or distribution

  What should we do? We have a stack of old JW (WTS) and JW-related (commentary-type) books sat in boxes. We haven't looked at them for years now and probably won't ever again. What should we do with them?

  Options are:

  • Bin them. Landfill.
  • Sell them (eBay? JWD?)
  • Give them away (to collect or pay the postage)

  I'll put a proper list together and anyone who is interested and would find them useful is welcome to them.

  BTW: Some cynical bastard has scrawled "... Myths and other legends" underneath the cover of "My book of Bible Stories". Tuh ... such lack of respect

  We got rid of all but 1 copy of each, for our references. I have found, as others have commented, that the CDROM doesn't necessarily say the same thing as the actual books, magazines etc. Even the bound volumes aren't always the same!

  I have a good idea for the old magazines. We do a lot of traveling and wouldn't it be great to leave old mags with a note attached to see this site, WT research or whatever, maybe asking about the 607 issue, salvation through the WT, or the pedophile issue? Leaving them at gas station rest rooms or interstate rest areas? I used to leave the mags. Wish I'd kept the old ones now, I'd put them to good use!

  I have meny copys of just about all JW books and mag's. Even a few of the old record players and lot's of the record's that played on them. Are thay worth antthing???

  Anti cult ministries could always use them, or maybe Randy at Freeminds could sell them? or sell them yourself. Any anti jw researcher would love to have them.
