Please tell me about your Jehovah

  The Watchtower Society has its own God. They have named him Jehovah, but he is exclusively the Watchtowergod, and not the God of the bible.

  The claim they "speak" for this God....but they keep hearing it all wrong and then telling their followers "we be imperfect" to excuse their faulty prophecies and their even more faulty and worse advice.

  Despite the fact the Watchtower Society has never gotten ONE prediction right, they insist on and demand that their followers do EVERY THING they are told to, or they are either kicked to the curb or live with the fear that they will be killed along with the rest of the world's population that didn't become Jehovah's Witnesses before the "END" comes...

  ...Never forget that forgiveness or unconditional love is not in the WTS vocabulary. A JW cannot speak to any JW who has left this organization. Whatever the WTS elders say.....goes. The "bible's" rules and regulations change whenever the WTS decides they do.....remember....they speak for God.

  Don't YOU want to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses?

  Well, everytime you throw your burden on Jehovah, he throws it back at you. He's a loving god who will destroy all but six million people sometime between now and later. Apparently, he communicates with the head guys at the Watchtower Society, but the connection seems to be bad since his prophecies failed in 1914, 1915, 1918, 1925, 1975, and within the Generation of 1914.

  Well first let me lear up this whole stranger vs Veritas issue. When I entered I was unaware of the nature of the forum and was indeed fishing to find how the JW's would respond to a simple uncomplicated question. When I learned the nature of the site I quickly made a new alias,my apoplogies for the confusion, I do wish it made been veritas that got kept on though. I do hope this clears up any confusion as to why the anwsered for each other.

  No prob, veritas. That's a cool name. If you really wanna know jehovah, pray to him to introduce himself and tell you about him. 'Course, he won't respond. That's because he's a mythical god, like zeus or thor. The most popular book for info about this jewish myth is the ot of the bible. Also, some ugarit tablets have been unearthed in palestine that give a bit more info.
