Curious about accusations against the Iranian president for his views on the Holocaust, I was doing a little research into the matter and stumbled across this character: Ditlieb Felderer Charged, tried, convicted and jailed in Sweden. Vilified in the press. Forced to live in exile. Background and contribution: Felderer, at one time a prominent Jehovah's Witness, is known as an early researcher into the physical evidence in every major concentration camp in then Communist Eastern Europe. Felderer took over 30,000 photographs of every conceivable detail in the camps. He discovered that there was a swimming pool for the inmates in Auschwitz, modern hospital facilities, including a gynecological section, as well as an orchestra, live theatre, well-stocked library, and sculpting classes. He discovered the musical score of the "Auschwitz Waltz" in the secret archives accessible only with special permission. He found that an intimate role was played by Jehovah Witnesses in the camps, who cooperated with the SS-Administration, and he exposed the lie of the 60,000 Jehovah's Witnesses killed. For his Revisionist work, Felderer was excommunicated - that is, drummed out of the Jehovah Witnesses' sect. He has been persecuted by the Holocaust Enforcers ever since. Felderer is right to question how many Jehovah's Witnesses actually perished in the Holocaust (the number is less than has sometimes been put forth) but to suggest that a swimming pool, orchestra, theater, etc. was solely for the benefit of the inmates I certainly question. Who were really the intended recipients? What did the Commandant and his SS men do for recreation? By the way, how many of the inmates were there out of their own free will? To pretend that the inmates had it so good is another lie of the holocaust deniers. If they did, they wouldn't have died like flies from malnutrition, slave labor, and disease, not to speak of the gas chambers (which they also deny).

MerryMagdalene: Don`t believe everything you find on the internet. Zundel is one of those antisemites/neo-nazis posing as "revisionists". They never hesitate to lie, misrepresent, etc, to support their wacky conspiracy theories. As for the number 60 000, I have never heard the JWs claim that that many jws were killed in the concentration camps. I believe the yearbook once upon a time said 10 000, and that number is wrong, I think I read somewhere on the board that the real number is 2000. It is typical of someone like Zundel to claim that the "holohoax"-historians (as the call them) said that it was 60 000, and that the real number was 200. Exagerate what the real holocaust-historians say, and then claim that the actual number is ridicolously low. Typical holocaust-denial-technique, they do that with the number of jews too. These folks honestly believe that the total number of jews who died in the camps was no greater than 100 000, and that most of them died due to "malnutrition caused by food-shortage due to allied bombing of the railways, and of tyfus". They are crazy and retarded, and don`t listen to them.

Dear MM,
Nothing against you, but I find anyone denying the holocaust such as the man you are referring to very offensive. I have persoanlly been to concentration camps in Germany. Swimming pools, art classes, libraries and doctors my a**. I cannot spend another minute on this, its just too upsetting.
